John Bear has more than 35 years’ experience in the battery industry – all of his time has been has been spent in Lead Acid chemistry including expertise in both cylindrical cell and prismatic cells for use in transportation applications (Automotive, Truck/Bus Diesel Starting, Marine Starting and Cycling and Golf Car/EV).
Paul Cheeseman
Dr. Paul Cheeseman has over thirty years in the battery industry. Starting in Research his functional experience spans all areas of Product Development, Engineering and Operations. He has acquired many technical management skills most significantly Strategic Planning, Project Management, Technology Innovation, People Development, Problem Solving and Cost Management, including VAVE. He has participated at every stage of the battery technology life cycle. From start up, through rapid growth to maturation including mergers and acquisitions.
Louis Hruska
Louis Hruska is the principal executive of the Energy Research Group (ERG), a consulting practice specializing in battery system design, manufacturing, application and related business strategies. Hruska founded ERG after a 30 year career in battery, materials, and control system technology to assist clients in the automotive, utility, aerospace, consumer device, and telecommunications industries.
Doug Magnuson
Mr.Magnuson has served for 35 years in the battery industry. He has experience in every major chemistry including Lead-Acid, NiCd, NiZn, NiMH, Zn-Air, Alkaline, LiPrimary, and Lithium Ion. His specialty is R&D management and has served as technical director for successful start-ups in NiMH and Lithium Ion.

Dr. Ramaswami is a results oriented leader with 25 years of experience developing Primary and Rechargeable Batteries at leading Organizations like Duracell, Rayovac/Spectrum Brands, Eaton Corporation and Eagle Picher Technologies with progressively increasing Technical, Leadership & Management Responsibilities.
